my pc turns off randomly, even when idle.

specs: psu Corsair CX 750 750W 80+
8gb HyperX 1600Mhz
i7 3770k
Msi z77a gd65
gigabyte r9 270x 2GB
i searched online and maybe something about the RAM not being set at the right voltage or the motherboard isnt getting the right amount or something. not sure what is really going on. It shuts off with no warning, and take about 5 seconds for it to let me turn it back on.

i've re-attached cords from the psu to the motherboard. what might be a problem is that i searched in the event viewer and see some critical errors. name: kernel-power event id:41 Task Category:63. and shows the list of times it's happened and is the same time at which my pc turned off

Have you checked inside the case to make sure everything is plugged in right?

Hey there,

Not sure if you are doing any overclocking but you can try to reset the CMOS and see if it is something with the overclock interfering. If you have the option try out another PSU and see if it behaves the same way, or try testing each RAM stick individually by pulling all but one out, and seeing if the computer behaves the same way.

Hope this helps, and good luck!
