It seems like SilverStone is a trustworthy brand for PSUs, and I've seen some decent reviews for a few of their PSUs, but I can't find a review specific to this model that also conducts a ripple test, such as JohnnyGURU and Hardware Secrets.

I'm hoping that if/when the PSU fails, it will be more graceful, rather than bursting into flames like generic and cheap brand power supplies.

Does anyone have this PSU, or would anyone recommend it if it's coming from a reliable brand? I can't spend more than $60 max.

Silverstone make good PSUs but like with any brand they have entry, mid and high end components. The model that you have mentioned is entry/mid.
Personally, for under $60, I'd go with the XFX TS 550w Full Wired 80+ Bronze Power Supply, it's $54 dollars on amazon. XFX is a reliable brand that is a good quality PSU

Thanks for the response and recommendation. Upon researching the PSU you mentioned, it appears to be made by Seasonic, and if this is the PSU model that is used in the JohnnyGURU review, which it looks like it is, then it looks like a decent PSU for the price point. It looks better than the PSU I was already looking at, plus, even higher wattage. And about a dollar cheaper.

The ripple seems lower than one of the reviews I saw for a similar model Silverstone to the one I was looking at. I think you've found a great one. :D

Thank you for the recommendation and I will definitely be looking into getting this over the Silverstone, I appreciate your help.

P.S. This is an ATX form factor PSU correct? I believe it is.

What about SilverStone Strider 700W 80+ Plus Bronze Single Rail 54A Modular PSU (SST-ST70F-PB)?

My setup has 495W
Which One works better?
Seasonic M12II-750 80+ Bronze 750W Single Cheap/Quality (250W+!!!)
SilverStone Strider 700W 80+ Plus Bronze Single Rail 54A Modular PSU (SST-ST70F-PB) (200W+!) CHEAP
Corsair RM750X (Expensive but good)

Does SilverStone I mentioned, has japanese Capacitors or better than the author's?

also if none of them are good due to high Watt,
I can (low chance) order CM v650 from amazon (is it full modular?)
btw, PSUs are tooooo expensive here (v650 is the cheapest when bought from amazon)
