So i installed windows 7 yesterday in a new build and I had the HDMI plugged into the GPU. I had no issues getting a signal to the TV. I did not install the GPU drivers yet because I was going to upgrade to Win 10. After I upgraded to Win 10, I did a windows update which included the GPU drivers. When that finished and my computer rebooted it went to a black screen after with win logo. So I took out the GPU and directly connected to integrated graphics and it works. When I install the GPU again and boot up it will show the display but not in great graphics as if the drivers didnt install. I used a driver remover and fresh installed, still the same black screen. Im not sure if its the drivers or a faulty motherboard. Never had AMD before.

I seen another thread with the same issue, I have the Asus version. He said that he switched to a completely different card (7850) and had no issues

If something is wrong, always blame Windows 10.

If something is wrong and you have AMD card, blame the card.

It is obvious it's a driver problem. Try getting an old driver for it, or see if 260x actually is supported by Windows 10.

Windows 10 is such trash though.

I would manually remove the drivers, I personally don't trust other software. I'd recommend uninstalling AMD Catalyst and there supported drivers, then try to reboot.

I have a R7 360.
