Hallo guys i know that this thread might not be the right one to post my question but i don't know where i am supposed to post this. So here is my problem, i am going to buy a ups propably an APC but i want to ask something. Ups are supposed to be always on power even when the computer is off and i am out of house? Thanks for the help

You should turn off the UPC if you leave it unattended for extended periods of time. If you're going out for work and will be back at night, probably won't hurt, but if you're out for a week you should turn it off.
