Hey there,

So I've finally come up with a specification I believe I'm fully happy with, although have been debating between parts for a while. I want to future proof this so it lasts for a while, and thus need your advice. I will be using my laptop mainly for gaming, general browsing, watching videos, and also video/picture editing at times likewise.

1. i5-6600k or i7-6700 (NON K) - I've read multiple things but no-one seems to have a definitive answer, all give varying stats in performance. Was just wondering your opinion based on my usage and lifespan.

2. 230W AC or 330W AC - If you have any K version you need to have the 330AC Adaptor Power Lead, but what if it was the i7-6700? Is it worth getting it for this, or is it only beneficial if you overclock?

3. 8GB RAM or 16GB RAM - For my usage, is it worth getting the 16GB RAM? I've been debating it as I want the PC to last and I'm not sure if 8 will be enough in the years to come.

4. Offers from Scan & PCSpecialist - Deciding between the two. Anybody have personal experience or know of any discounts going?

Thanks!

Thanks very much for your help!
