have cloned and booted my backup drive. the problem is I cannot access the internet it show no service for my network and I cannot get to any windows files every time I try to access them it says there is a security problem. Why I try to access the windows folder I get the same problem I cannot even get task manager to open. Wondering if anyone knows of this problem or how to fix this problem? Or do they know a better/different program to try? I want a complete back up I can boot off of incase mine crashes not an iso or anything like that.

Thanks

Hey there, bigal80ak.

You might have to take ownership of the drive or folder, to be able to access its contents. Take a look at this thread here: http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2808-take-ownership-file-folder-drive-registry-key-windows-8-a.html this is for Windows 8 and 8.1, but it's the same for Windows 7 as well. Although having in mind that for some reason you don't have internet/network access as well, something might have gone wrong with the cloning process (note that this might be fixable if you reinstall your network adapter's driver or update it).
Here's another cloning tutorial you can try, to see if it works for you: http://www.howtogeek.com/199068/how-to-upgrade-your-existing-hard-drive-in-under-an-hour/

Hope that...
