I see error at post. F1 to bios and ASUS P8B75-M C/SM motherboard says cpu temp is 32C.
No hardware changes have been made in a year and and half.
Bios was updated to latest one last fall.
I don't like having to boot and reboot twice.

Solution
Try clear the CMOS by removing the battery to reset the pc, and use the PC to see you still get the overheat error or not, because for intel cpu, 32C is normal for idle temp. Or may try use software like core temp, hwmonitor to check the temp. Or update the chipset driver too. Win10 go to asus site to get it, for win7/8 go to the intel site https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775/Intel-Chipset-Device-Software-INF-Update-Utility- to get it.
