I want to build a pc that is capable of running the newest games on the highest settings or almost on the highest settings at 60 fps on 1920x1080 resolution. The game I look forward to is Fallout 4. I will do some video editing like making montages etc. I will NOT be overclocking.

These are the components that I plan on buying.

Motherboard:
Processor: Intel core i7 4790k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz 2x4
Graphics card:
Storage: Western Digital Blue 1TB + Samsung 850 EVO SSD
PSU:
Case: Corsair Carbide Series 100R Silent

I have left out 3 components because I'm not sure what to buy, I don't want to buy a graphics card that has the ability to overclock when I won't be using this feature, where I could of bought the same one that doesn't have the overclock feature for a cheaper price. Suggestions and/or improvements would be great. Thanks.

For that budget no more than a nice and powerful Intel i5 processor is recommended. Otherwise you are limiting yourself too much in performance because you will have to buy weaker components plus a weaker graphics card.

I like CTurbo's build, but I would choose a newer power supply than the slightly outdated XFX 550w PSU. These are most likely not recently manufactured anymore.

The EVGA G2 550w is 57 quid. Only 6 quid more for significantly higher quality with longer warranty.
