So, I want to upgrade the RAM on my HP Compaqu 6710b. The system reads 2 GB, so I "popped the hood", and I was really surprises to see only 1 RAM slot of 1 GB. I took the RAM out, and turned it on, and the BIOS read 1 GB. Where is the 1 GB coming from? P.S. I can't see behind the WiFi adapter, but I don't think it's there. Any help?

Apologies just double checked the spec. Your laptop comes equipped with 1GB RAM, so you should have space for one more stick of RAM. I don't think it'll do much for your performance to be honest but you can always try it out.

Ummm, this is a laptop, not a desktop. I've read that this laptops supports 4 GB max. I looked very close, and I only saw one RAM slot. Guess I won't upgrade :'(

The laptop came stock with 2 GB of RAM, I swear. I asked my buddy who used to work in PC repair, and knows these laptops inside and out. He told me there is another slot behind the keyboard.
Thanks for the help, m8 :D
