Hey guys, long time viewer, first time post!

So... I thought of a new build and this is what came to my attention:

Skylake: i7 6700 (3.4ghz) + Asus Maximus viii gene + G.SKILL KIT 8GB 2X4GB DDR4 2400MHz CL15 Ripjaws Red

or

Haswell: i7 4790k + Asus Maximus vii gene + CORSAIR Vengeance Red KIT 8GB 2X4GB DDR3 2133MHz CL11

or

Core i5 6600k + Asus Maximus viii gene + G.SKILL KIT 8GB 2X4GB DDR4 2400MHz CL15 Ripjaws Red

What do you guys recommend? I'll be gaming mostly, no video renderings and all that image/video editing, just pure gamming, need to know value for money here :S

Thank you.

Skylake i7 will last the longest and perform the best. Haswell is very strong but there's no reason to get older tech at this point, IMO. You may be glad to have the hyperthreading ability a year or two from now. Never know what kind of software you may end up using. The i7 will cover it all pretty much.

Hello! Thank you for answering!
If we take out the factor value for money, what would be the best from the 3 setup here?

And, got any suggestions? If yes then i'm looking for a strong durable small board with sli support, must get the best cpu, due to demanding cpu games, and about rams im not that worried, as i will get wither of these kits if ddr3 or ddr4 but i am open for more suggestions.

I am aiming real high here for these 3 components as they will last for 4-5 years.

Archaic59 i decided to buy this kit: G.SKILL KIT 8GB 2X4GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Ripjaws V Black
According to your link, only 2400mhz will work?
What will happen to the 3200mhz of this kit?

Yes, all you do is enable XMP in bios and the ram should run at its advertised speed. There may be more than 1 XMP profile so look at whatever Asus puts there.
