hi i was wondering about the potential overclocks i can get on the 6600k with the Cryorig H7 CPU Cooler i have heard some very good things about this budget cooler i will also be using a ASRock Z170-Pro4 Motherboard
No doubt, with the cooler you have chose and minimal knowledge using turbo boot you can achieve those speeds without alteration of voltages, only multipliers.
You wont get much out of overclocking but if you really want to I would say you can get it up to 4.7ghz MAX that's without changing voltages and just by altering the CPU multiplier. if you want to go any higher its going to require boosting the voltage from 1.35 to higher and this is going to require other changes to help keep it stable. Intel has not been much of an oc brand.
