Hello,
I'm looking to setup a rig that can support 2 LG 25um57-p monitors at 2560x1080. Although I want to support dual monitors I only want to game with one of them. Does anyone know of video cards with 2 HDMI slots that could support such a setup? I primarily play league of legends but I would like it to be seamless as possible. Once again when gaming i will only be running the client on one monitor.

Thank you in advance for your help

My opinion may or may not be redundant because I was too tired to read all the responses you've already received, although I noticed a few people recommend 980 Ti's. I think they were joking with you, or perhaps they've never seen LOL game play before?

Not including LOL: In my opinion the GTX 980 (not Ti) is the perfect card for the 2560x1080 @ 60 FPS for 2015 titles. It's the only resolution that I even recommend that card for. With that said, I have minimum experience with LOL and DOTA 2.

LOL: Honestly, I would think a GTX 750 Ti (or comparable AMD card) could produce 60 FPS at your resolution. The only reason I would recommend above this card is if you play other more demanding games.

Even though the video below isn't 21:9...

There are plenty of GPUs that have 2x HDMI ports. Powering the 2nd monitor doesn't require a lot. I'd first figure out which GPU fits your needs and budget and will also work with the rest of your system and THEN try to find something in that range that has the outputs you need. If you wanna post your gaming needs, budget and rest of your system we can help you find out what you're looking for.

Thank you for the recommendation, but I would like to avoid buying such a high powered card(gtx 980ti) if I can avoid it.
JediTT the problem is the monitors i'm looking at only have hdmi inputs(no dvi or displayport). But like I said I only need one of the two monitors to be running at gaming level settings.

I responded before I saw the monitors only have 2x HDMI, I edited above post.

Also since those monitors you're looking at have display port inputs, that's also an option over looking for a card with 2x HDMI. You can run more than 1 monitor from a single display port on a GPU as long as the GPU supports multiple monitors.

if only! :)
That card looks like it would work but it appears to only have 1 hdmi port. I believe you're mistaken jedi, the monitors dont have display port inputs, only hdmi. Or am i mistaken?

Is there a possible workaround for this?

Also if read of conflicting reports that hdmi can't support 2560x1080 at 60hz is their truth to this?

I guess it doesn't. I think the model I was looking that had Display Port didnt have the P on the end. If you were gonna go with that R7 you linked, I'd be more inclined to get the 750ti linked above. It has the 2x hdmi you need, will play LoL with no problems and is better than the R7 for around the same price. Make sure you have a good enough PSU, case clearance, and a cpu that isn't gonna bottleneck it.

Even though the video below isn't 21:9 ratio, I thought you would find the FPS interesting on a GTX 970 in 1080p.
