Alright so right now i just turned on my PC so im downloading a few updates on steam and all that stuff. But then all of a sudden my case fans, cpu fans and my GPU led lights randomly turned off. (Keep in mind, i have my lights in my room turned off and it kind of scared me a bit) So i want to know what just happen ? I was still able to use my PC but as soon as i saw everything turned off i opened up MSI afterburner and it showed the temps at normal rate. Then i just tapped my pc case and all the lights, fans started running again. I did have a problem playing CS:GO about 2-3 weeks ago where i couldn't join a game but once I did join a game i had a black screen and i coudnlt return to the Windows 10 home so i had to turn off my PC manually and power supply. Or I'm not sure if this is because of a few Windows update's i downloaded the day before yesterday is it ? So what happened ? Could it be a motherboard, power supply problem ?

I really don't understand the attraction of "full modular" unless you arr resleeving your cables. You must use the 24 pin, you must use the EPS cable, so what's the point ? you just add resistance, reduce efficiency, and create another potential failure point while adding unnecessary cost.

The PSU connections should have a locking tab ... if ya don't push in far enough, they don't lock.

Sounds like either a loose connection to your fan controller or mobo connector or a loose mobo so it isn't getting a good ground. Check all connections. Tighten all mobo hold down screws and if any are missing disassemble to find them and replace them.

Things in the case vibrate so screws will come loose is not tightened correctly or connectors lose their connection if not fully inserted to the point where the latches engage..

I always hear like a tick sound or something out of my case when I turn it on i guess like you said my PC vibrates i guess one of the connections got a bit loose. My power supply is XFX XTR and its a full module but the connections are a bit stiffy. But what JackNaylorPE said in my other post to disconnect and re connect it i think it solved my problems so far im 25 minutes and i didn't see my lights or fans go out.

I keep pressing the best solution button damm. Anyway yeah i see the lock but there was one psu cable that wasnt all the way in the psu and it was under "MB connection" im guessing it was the fan controller. Because after i disconnect and reconnected that cable i haven't see my leds turn it self off anymore. Im on Amazon and Newegg and a few other people that have the same PSU as me said in the review that the cables are "stiff or Stiffy" All other cables are now locked into the PSU. Now im 50 mintues into my PC and no leds or fans are randomly turning off.
