games stutter bad when auto saving

when auto saving my games stutter and its pretty damn noticeable. im not sure what to do.

my specs are
500GB SATA III 7200RPM
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
MSI Computer NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 GAMING 100 Million Edition OC 4GB
Intel Core i5-4690K
"MSI ATX DDR3 2400 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97 PC MATE"

If disabling the internet fixes this issue, what does this mean? Why would defragmenting my (laptop) hard drive help? Thanks!

try Disabling the internet, then play the game and see if it still hangs/lags at auto saves. if it does, try defragmenting your harddrive, if that does not help, as a last resort I recommend reinstalling your graphics driver as it may have something to do with it.

Let me know if it still hangs/lags when internet is disabled.

ive tried all of that, im starting to think its my RAM or something.

i found out what my problem is and it was becaus ei was using a bad Hard Drive. Once i got an SSD for just my games it worked perfectly.... unless it was an Ubisoft game... those are awful pc ports
