Hello everyone,I'm planning on getting an EVGA GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0 gpu and I'm having some trouble choosing a dvi cable to connect my monitor with the graphics card.My monitor only supports Dvi D both single and dual link cables whereas the 980 supports Dvi I cables.Would an HDMI TO DVI-D ADAPTER work?I would appreciate if you could help me out pick the right cable or even an adapter,thanks for your time!

If you are connecting to a monitor that requires a DVI-D single link cable, it will be fine. DVI-I dual link is a superset of DVI-D single link -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface#Connector
