Alright so, I've done a bit of research I have found some information in building a pc.(First time hooray).
So I've finally come to ask for help since black friday is so close and deals will start coming out.

Generally, I basically want a pc that can run Fallout 4, dying light, all of the newest games and hopefully next years games at highest settings without stutter if possible.
So, a 4th gen intel i5 (the overclockable one) and either an nVidia gtx 960 or an radeon r9 290x. I have no current plans to SLI or Crossfire though.

If possible, could you please suggest some decent builds between 800-1000 dollars. I also do not need an optical or solid state drive, a 1 terabyte drive(or even 500 gb) is good enough for the time being(although i plan to upgrade later.

Thank you very much :D

Well this build should be able to max out any game at 1080p for the next 3 years or so without much of a need to upgrade and still keep around 60fps. Fits your budget just fine and has top of the line parts.

Question, the motherboard in your build seems to have mixed reviews with crashing. Is this a typical risk to buying a motherboard?
I appreciate the help~
edit: What would be a decent alternate motherboard or processor?

I didn't realize some people had been having that problem, if you were to have that problem you could probably send it back to the manufacturer and they'd send you a new one. A decent alternative would be this: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gaz170mxgaming5

So may I ask why you used this power supply over a modular one? Is there really no difference between the two types or is it all basically personal preference?

Well the one I suggested is just incredibly high quality for the price. If you want one of similar quality that is modular, it's gonna cost you more. This is the cheapest modular psu that I would suggest, and it's $30 more than the original psu I suggested. Modular psus are worth the money if you can afford them though, because they can improve airflow by reducing cable clutter, and they look oh so nice: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-ss750am2
