Hey guys, thinking about this configuration:
i5 4460
A 550W supply
Cooler Master 130
Asrock H97M-ITX
8GB 1600 Ram

I am looking for a videocard and found some great deals online. I can get a used GTX 770, HD 7970, GTX 760 4GB, GTX 680 2GB, or I could get a new R9 280x. What do you guys think would be the best choice for this configuration and what card would deliver the best performance in games?

Thanks so much in advance

LOL, it's all good. I can definitely work with that budget. How about this? This should get you you 60fps at 1080p at high settings in most games. Some games like the Withcer 3 or Crysis 3 might require you to play at medium settings, but it should still look good, and if you were to upgrade the gpu in a couple years you'd have a pretty monster mini-itx build.

Thanks, I actually don't need the storage on top of it. I could get the other components for around 360 dollars so that would mean I would still have 240 dollars for the GPU. I saw some great deals for older highend GPU's like a GTX 770 OC for 165 dollars and I was wondering whether I should go with an older used GPU like the GTX 770 or a new 280 or 280x or something. Would the performance be significantly better?

Thanks in advance

You should be able to snag a brand new r9 280x, and yes it's worth the money. An r9 280x can max out most current titles on the market and keep a steady 60fps at 1080p. Some titles will require you to lower some settings, but not by much. You should be playing at high settings for the next 2 or 3 years with an r9 280x, and it should still be able to run games at console quality for the next 5 or 6 years from now.
