Music Server Smart TV Eth 4 from Linksys Empty Empty

What depicted above is the scheme of my home networking. It is far from being optimal. Basically a Linksys is on my top floor connected to a modem which receives the signs from an Antenna sited on my roof. I live in a small village and we have a wifi broadcasted ADSL like signal.

The Linksys manages DHCP and PPoe. Then everything is routed on lower floors. On first floor I have a switch (#1) that share the netwrok among equipments sited in my study room. There I have a NAS which shall be accessible to everybody in my house (My dad and my family) and a printer which shall be equally accessible through home network. Still in my apartment I have then an ASUS AC68u router which broadcast the signal through wifi and sees a smartTV and a music server connected to its gigabit switch ethernet ports. One of those 4 ports is routed to Linksys ethernet port #4.

Link sys has a static ip, namely 192.168.0.2 and Asus has 192.168.0.1, the NAS has a static identifier too. All DHCP stuff is managed by Linksys.

I have the perception that my configuration, despite being very basic, does not exploit all potentiality of my routers. If I enter in Asus config web page I see that the router does not see itself as being connected to internet, and in any case I under-use it only for wifi, giving up its functionality as firewall, antivirus, and in general making less use of its functionalities. I keep it where it is since it is supposed to give better WIFI speed/coverage compared to Linksys, and in my first floor I need big coverage.

What I feel short, is in understanding how I should make use of WAN ports. What I would like to achieve is to have the Asus doing the DHCP and PPoe work, leaving to Linksys only a minor role in the networking. The problem is that my Wifi signal arrives from the roof and under roof all the distribution of cables is done.

Any clue, suggestion to optimize my configuration?

thanks

Solution
The only device that should be using the WAN port is the router directly connected to the ISP. The rest should be setup as access points using the regular network ports connected to that router.
