Alright so my brother has decided it's time to upgrade, and when that time comes it can be hard to decide what to get, and if it will work together (for unexperienced builders like me and him), so we were wondering if you guys could help.

Not sure if the motherboard has USB 3.0 headers or not, and I was also wondering if the GPU would work well with the CPU we picked. We checked the sizes so everything should fit in the tiny case but what we're worried about most is compatibility.

With the USB header, I think I can make one out but PC Part Picker shows the motherboard as not having a USB 3 header so I'm unsure on that front. As for the CPU, there is the newer i3-4160 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819117447) available for only $8 more. As far as using an i3 for gaming, there's an article here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2117436/intel-core-4330-cpu-good-gaming.html that covers this in some detail with graphs as well to compare.

All in all though, I'd say this build should work fine and be capable of playing most games at medium settings.

Update: To ensure compatability, I've put all the key parts into a PC Part Picker build here: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/DM3kNG this shows the estimated wattage of the system is 153 Watts so the power supply chosen is fine in both wattage and quality. I'm still not sure about the USB 3 header as the motherboard has what I would say is a USB 3 header because of the missing pin and the notch location as well as being labelled as USB3. The Newegg listing doesn't state that it has a USB 3 header on the motherboard so I'm going to assume that it doesn't to be on the safe side
