Can i install the motherboard without standoffs?

but i tried finding my motherboard screws ok first my nephue found all the gold shiny ones and through them then when i tried to order some more form ebay i ordered the wrong ones :( they were to small so idk what mounting screws are right for my mobo :(

Nine standoffs are dimpled into the motherboard tray for a full size ATX form factor motherboard.

If your motherboard is smaller than standard ATX (e.g. Micro ATX) then there were three standoffs that were included in the accessory bag for the 3 mounting holes that don't line up with any of the dimpled standoffs on the motherboard tray.

Did you buy M3 fine thread or #6-32 coarse thread standoffs?

The dimpled-in standoffs use #6-32 coarse thread.

You don't even mention which dimension is "too small". Are you talking about height or diameter or both?

I'm pretty sure the brass standoffs that were included with that case are #6-32 coarse thread:
