R9 280X low fps on Battlefield 4

Hey there! I installed this game after long time with better rig, but i am getting insane fps drps on some conquest maps. I was playing myself on high settings, then i found somewhere that i should try to check AMD gaming evolved for recommended settings and even for high performance it was recommending everything on ultra with my gpu... But fps drops i am getting are just way too high even on medium.. i am getting 20-30fps. I am using last drivers and win 8.1.

make sure resolution scale is at 100%, and msaa is at x2

My resolution scale is at 100% and i even tried to play with AA off and it was without result. Still the same.

are you monitoring temps?

use DDU, uninstall the drivers, then reinstall without gaming evolved.

turn off all power savings features in the BIOS, and also under windows power options set to high performance.

I tried to run the game with temp+GPU usage monitor and when i played on first server that was fine only some drops i had around 68°C and 90-100% usage but when fps dropped the GPU usage dropped on 70% and when i played map that is completely fu*ked up GPU had around 64-67°C i had huge drops around 25-30fps and GPU usage was around 60-70%... I don't know what is happening.

Raxex :

you have msi afterburner?

if not install it and then turn on cpu temp monitoring in the OSD, your cpu may be temp throttling

Hey,
Turn down graphics settings to really LOW. Then, if you still get major drops the issue is a CPU bottleneck likely.

It's hard to compare benchmarks, but it's my understanding that if you get great frame rate in SINGLE PLAYER or online with smaller maps then the bottleneck during large maps must be the CPU.

*I don't play the game, but are 20-30FPS drops happening to other people regardless of system or not?

It looked fine on low, but i will not play the game on low when its suppoed to run fine on ultra.
