Is it safe to play games that require 6GB RAM when you only have 6GB Usable?

As the title states, I'm curious about this. I know the game itself can run if you have 6GB RAM, and the game requires 6GB Minimum but what I am wondering is, will it be able to run fine? Will my memory be at 100% while I play or will it be fine? I dont wanna risk paying for a game and then it becomes choppy because the usage is constantly at 100% or something like that.

I guess what I am really trying to ask is, is ALL of the RAM utilized when the game is played? And I know other things have bearings on whether or not the game will run smoothly but I am only curious about the RAM usage.

You will almost certainly get very choppy gameplay.

If the game requires a MINIMUM of 6GB of RAM then it means that 6GB of RAM are going to be needed at several points in the game. You might be able to get by at certain times, but in the more demanding points of the game you're proabably going to find it unplayable.

Forgot to answer following the test run of the game. It did turn out to run fine at least playable, althought thats after I turn off almost everything else to play it. Choppy at some points, driving sequences, and pretty much anything with motion blurring (which became fine after I turned that off) but for the most part it ran okay, but I won't risk possibly damaging my ram from putting too much stress on it. But thank you both for your feedback!
