Just build my new computer tonight and chrome and/or edge are very stuttery when opening new pages up etc. Youtube audio is stuttery and semi distorted and not playing correctly. If I'm in comms like dolby axon while in chrome or something the audio in there does the same. I've downloaded all of the mobo drivers from my ASUS z170 Pro gaming disc as well as the newest nvidia drivers. I'm really at a loss and disappointed as this is really ruining the entire thing for me. Unsure of what to do right now.

Specs for the build:

i7 6700k
Coolermaster nepton 240m
GTX 980ti ACX 2.0 SC
Samsung 850 EVO SSD 1tb
ASUS z170 PRO GAMING mobo
EVGA 750G 750w gold fully modular PSU

Bump, issue still persists. It'll work great for a minute or two then its back to slow and distorted/laggy audio and system stutter. Some applications cause a subtle screeching sound throughout my headset as well. Should I just reinstall windows at this point? I've made sure all the drivers especially the realtek audio ones from ASUS are up to date. Anyone have any suggestions?
