My computer freezes at bios screen when secondary hdd is plugged. Help!

used "convert E: /fs:ntfs" at the command prompt to convert my wd green 1tb to ntfs and after restarting my pc wont boot. it just freezes at the bios, and when i remove that hdd my pc would work and boot just fine.

I'm really sorry to hear about the issues with your drive. Did the process complete successfully when you've reformatted the drive?
I'd recommend that you try the HDD with a different computer, or at least with a different SATA port and cables on yours, to see if the same thing happens. You could also try connecting it via a SATA to USB adapter, a docking station or an external enclosure, after the computer has already booted to Windows, to see if it's recognized properly.
