how do i use 2 monitors, 1 for gaming and 1 for other things

i recently got 2 monitors and i want to use one for gaming and the other one for browsing and stuff, but when i want to browse, it exits the other monitor out of the game. i have read that fullscreen window mode fixes it but i have some games that doesnt let me do that, please help

You can either set the game to windowed (fullscreen) or windowed with the primary monitor's resolution.

Keep in mind that windowed mode might cause reduced performance / stuttering compared to fullscreen, but it may not be that bad, depending on your hardware, drivers and the game.

yeah the performance is bad in windowed mode :/, is there another way??
