I hope someone can help been on this problem for a week now.

I have an external synth that conects via usb My problem is when i switch off the nord the usb ports crash and any new connection is not recognised until i restart my computer which when i do hangs on the shutdown page for about 10 minutes the i get bsod with error driver state failure or bad pool header.

I can start my computer then turn on and off the nord with no issues the problem only happens when i use it in cubase 7 as a midi track even if no midi signal is sent to the nord. The problem is when i turn off the nord by the power button the driver disconnects then if i try to reconnect the nord nothing happens in the device manager all usb that are still connected work but any new connection is not seen.

I have done a fresh install of windows 7 64bit updated all drivers for everything & windows updates.

I have tried disconnecting all usb devices and still the same problem. Im not over clocking or under clocking. I have tried a different usb lead, used various usb ports, external powered usb ports.

The drivers i have installed are nord a1 midi, clavia usb 3.02 driver & clavia compostite usb driver. The latest ones.

The units was working fine until about 2 weeks ago where i was able turn the unit on and off using cubase with no problems.

Hope we can find a solution to the problem.
