This is my first gaming pc I'm going to build. I will purchase these parts either in late November or early December. So will this be easy to put together and are the parts okay? Also about the wifi adapter, is it needed and will it be hard to install / use. Or should I get a usb wifi adapter instead?

Here's a link to the parts: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/HGxdkL

Thanks in advance for helping me.

Yes, that would work fine. If you CAN use an ethernet cable, then you should. If for whatever reason you would prefer to use wifi, then don't use the USB adapter, as that will take up one of your USB ports, which can get annoying. Use the internal PCI adapter because you could easily just install that while you're building your PC. In terms of 'difficulty' to set them up, neither of them are...

Umm... Where's your build?

Edit: I see you've added the link :p

That build looks pretty good. Nothing I can see to fault it.

About the Wifi adapter... Do you NEED to use wifi? Can you plug a network cable into your PC? I absolutely HATE using wifi. It constantly drops out, and can become really slow if there is any interference. If you NEED wifi, then that adapter is fine. But if you can use Ethernet, then I would recommend getting rid of the wifi adapter from that list, and save yourself some money, and pain. :)

Hope this helped.

Yes sorry I forgot to add the link. I don't think that I could use Ethernet but I'll check out my room today to see if it had any outlets for the modem and router. So if I have to use wifi (most likely), do you recommend an usb wifi adapter or a pci e wifi adapter such as the one I already have chosen. Which one would be easier and less of a hassle to get connected to the Internet, setup, etc

Alright so I'll go with the Ethernet but I need to run a 20-30 feet cable from the router to my room to my pc. So would I be able to be connected using Ethernet and have everyone else in my house using the wifi at the same time? Basically can I be playing / using the Internet with Ethernet and my brother playing on wifi at the same time.

In terms of 'difficulty' to set them up, neither of them are difficult. You just have to download their drivers, (which will either happen automatically, or you can get them from the manufacturers website) and then click on your wifi connection and enter whatever password you have.

But if you can use Ethernet then use that instead, because all you need to do is plug a cable into your PC and done. No drivers, no internet passwords, nothing. And it's faster.

I hope this has answered any questions. I would really appreciate it if you select my answer (as it's the only answer) as the best one. And good luck with your build!
