Hi,

I updated my motherboard to the last version (P2.30B) and since then I can't set my memory frecuency to anything higher than DDR-1333.

I tried everything, like trying to "rollback" to the last version I had installed , I tried also a clean-CMOS but still locked to this DDR-1333.

Other issue i have ( i don't know if its related) its since this motherboard update I cannot change the multiplier of my CPU. I change it but I doesnt get reflected in the BIOS setup neither in CPU-Z in Windows.

Thanks in advance.

seems like all you should have to do is set the xmp profile in the bios and let it fly ??

all though the memory standard for the chip is 1066/1333 native ??? but you do have a ''K'' chip?? it may need some help to got to the 1600 [manualy ]

Memory Types DDR3 1066/1333

just to add I just looked at , read foot note 3 ? so now is it that the 1600 down clocks as well ???

The problem is the only options I have now to set the DRAM frecuency is 1066 - 1333 or auto( 1333) and after the update I was able to put 1600 or select a XMP profile.

Thanks in advance.

next to a compatibility issue with that kit and the board ??

for a example I got a kit for a 990fx build that did not work out only way it worked was one stick in any slot and bios at default settings -- anything more than that = fail

but the same kit that did not work with the asus 990fx I tried in this asrock z87 and all work 100% fine and dandy -0- issues ??

these things can pop up and leave you hanging

I asked to Asrock Service and this is the reply :

About this issue, it seems related to Intel ME crash and we will arrange a BIOS chip for you to replace

Thanks to everyone.

a bios chip ??? so they feel the chip is bad ?? cant be just flashed or the intel me updated ??

should also be listed at the boards download support page as well ?

To support Intel's 3rd Generation (Ivy Bridge) CPU, corresponding BIOS and drivers update are required
