As the title states, i'm looking to upgrade my GPU, and I would like some advice/suggestions if possible. I would also need a PSU to go along with it.

My current specs are -

GPU - XFX Radeon HD 6670.
CPU - AMD Athlon X4 760k Quad Core Processor
RAM - 8 Gigs
Mobo - ASUS A88XM-A

My budget for both the GPU and PSU would be 300 USD or less.($300)

What i'm looking for is, basically the best GPU I can pair with my CPU, along with a Power Supply, since my current one is only 350watts with no power connectors.

Any and all replies are appropriated.

I would prefer for the items to be on NewEgg if possible. Also note im in California.

Thank you for your time.

Your price point puts you in a bit of a bind as it kills the 970 option and below that, the choices less appealing.

The 950 is a great card for the price but you don't need a $150 PSU
The 960 is marginally better than the 950 but carries a 50% increase in price.

You could get a 960 and a SLI capable PSU, but a single 970 is faster than two 960s

GTX 960 + quality PSU capable of SLI = $215 ... adding a 2nd card as an upgrade at a later date would expend system life substantially and it's on;y

$165 GTX 960

$50 EVGA 750 B2

So at $215, you left quite a bit or money ($85) on the table..... If you could...

So at $215, you left quite a bit or money ($85) on the table..... If you could extend ya budget by $50 - $70, you could have a GTX 970 and a PSU capable of SLI'ing two 970s

The Asus 970 Turbo is $295 and the $50 PSU makes it $345.

Going $45 over budget, will make your system 50% faster than the 960 and even faster than two 960s in SLI. So if ya can swing it, the extra $45 brings a very strong return on your investment, much higher than the upgrade from a 950 to 960.

If ya can't swing the extra $45, then $215 for the 960 + 750 watt PSU will allow you to put $85 back in ya pocket and you will be SLI ready if you want to upgrade later.
