Hi !

So recently i was getting the parts together but i am not sure about the mobo so here it goes would the Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 be a good pair with the i5 4590(stock heatsink)?

(What are the VRM's like, overheating issues or any issues at all)

The GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 board will be a good match for those components, for sure. I would get at least a 2x4GB memory kit, though. Even better a 2x8GB kit. Dual channel increases the bandwidth and makes life easier for the CPU and will even give you a few FPS more in games. More bandwidth is great when/for multitasking, and more.
