hi all
i have a hp dv7 3180us entertainment notebook and i wanted to flash its bios using a flash drive.
i have searched the internet for the solutions and they all say to download the latest bios version from the manufacturers website which will be a rar
i have downloaded the bios version from hp website but it is not a rar file. Instead its just an exe file named sp50586
i really have no idea how to go about doing this. so can anyone provide me a step by step solution about how i can flash by bios using a flash drive.
i have been getting a BSOD after updating my bios from windows and now i also can not access my bios menu. i have tried removing and reinserting the cmos battery but nothing changes.
