Installing Phanteks PH-TC12DX onto AsusTek M5a97 R2 motherboard?

Hi all!

I've recently bought a Phanteks PH-TC12DX U-Type for my recent upgrade (AMD FX-6100 to FX-8350, GTX 660 to GTX 960) as the stock AMD cooler is simply ridiculous. I heard this cooler was good for the 8350 from another post on this website.

Now, I plan to install it on my AsusTek M5a97 R2 motherboard. The thing that worries me, however, is the fact that the cooler has two fans and, therefore, requires two sockets. The motherboard itself has one 4-pin slot for the CPU fan itself, and two-three 4-pin slots for chassis fans, though I don't dabble in that sort of additional cooling.

My question is, would it work if I connected one fan to the CPU slot, and another to one of the chassis slots? If so, in what configuration would this work best?

Thankyou for your help!
