mac mini 2008 with dvi to tv with hdmi

Good evening,

I'm investigating if is possible to connect my Mac Mini 2008 with Dvi/Vga exit to the tv by Hdmi.
The tv is the only monitor.

Tried with the vga adaptor and then the Vga/Hdmi converter but nothing is shown.

If the device supports DVI formatted HDMI inputs (read your TV's manual), you should be able to use a DVI connection just fine. Just remember that you CANNOT play audio that way and will need to use a headphone cable to the TV (and be limited to stereo)
