I just purchased a new EVGA GTX 970 SSC, I went from a Sapphire R9 280. I didn't really uninstall any of the AMD drivers before I installed my new card. Grand Theft Auto V is running very, very slow but the FPS counter is reading that it is like 130. I also got a new motherboard, and Windows is not activated. Im thinking of just going into my File Explorer and just searching on my pc "AMD" and deleting everything that pops up, as I have no more AMD hardware on this computer. Another thing I am suggesting to myself is resetting my whole computer to factory settings. I have a beast computer with an i5 4690k CPU, performance should not be an issue for anything. Would drivers really be causing this big of an issue? I really don't want to have to take my computer to a PC shop, as I just did that last week to find out my motherboard was defected. I honestly have no clue what to do at this point besides just start resetting and taking things out. Is there anything I can do, feel free to ask questions. :??::??::??:

Duplicate post..... answers have already been provided in your other thread.

You changed motherboards... you need to reinstall windows.

Deleting files will not remove the registry settings pointing to those files which can make matters worse.

Windows seems to be working perfectly, this is my 3rd switched motherboard with this windows. I bought two of the same motherboard because my last one broke. And how does windows effect performance?.... I dont think so
