Are Amazon (UK) good for delivery?

Hi guys,

Yesterday I ordered a motherboard from amazon. If I am out of the house, would they leave it on the doorstep or take it back to the depot?

Anyone have any experiecnce here?

Depends on the actual supplier and courier they used. A lot of things sold on Amazon dont come from an Amazon warehouse but a 3rd party

When you go to checkout to buy the item there are delivery settings for if you are not at home,and you can specify what you want to happen such as leave it with a specific neighbour or in an outhouse,if you did not specify then normally they will attempt to leave it with a neighbour.Normally they will not leave it on the doorstep due to theft considerations and non Amazon carriers require a signature.
If not delivered most companies will attempt a second delivery the following day and if that fails will hold it at their depot for a period of time before returning it to Amazon.
