AMD fx 8350 high temp with new MB

Got a new AMD MB for my fx 8350

New mb Asus sabertooth 990fx r 2.0
Ole mb Asus m5a97 Evo r2.0

I use to be around 60 celcius when running prime now im @73 with same settings

same case antec 300
same fans
same fan positions
Cpu cooler 212 with 2 noctua fans
same overclock settings 22* 200 @4.4 ghz @ 1.308 vcore
I read temps with Hw monitor "package temp and asus ai suite"

have i missed something?

could be one of these:
1) not as much vCore needed on new motherboard, try dropping it down a bit and see if it passes stress test
2) CPU or case fans arent blowing at the same RPM as previous motherboard, check settings.
3) Thermal paste incorrectly applied, remove and reapply.

EDIT: 62c is max for that chip so if you hit 65c in stress test kill the test

thats more like it :) see if you can hit 4.5Ghz or more with the sabertooth. Just remember to kill the test when you hit low 62-65c.
