I've been tasked with building a £300 gaming pc and would love your input.

Maybe games like mine-craft & rocket league. The reality is 1080p on ultra is a non starter, but maybe low - mid @ 1080/720p ?

The budget is £300 for the PC itself - excludes monitor / keyboard etc...

Can you post some builds below please?

Happy for APU builds too ? -i have no expeirence of these.

Something around GT8800 i guess. Depends on the RAM speed. So pretty weak or you'll have to spend alot on fast RAM. I think what you've done with your 300 pound task is pretty much the best you can come up with, and will be alot better than any APU build. :p

Honestly, for that price, get a console with a game and controller.

Windows alone is £90
A case and PSU will set you back at least £50,
That leaves you with £140 to get an APU, Mobo HDD and RAM.
You could Go Steam OS which gives you more wiggle room, but less games.

Sorry this price excludes windows too, just the 'PC' itself.

This is what i've come up with so far but i'd love some altenratives or improvements to this build guys

No APUs currently exist that can compete with a 750ti. There are no improvements to the build that you linked. Honestly, go with that.
