I am going to try to build my own pc for my christmas present. Right now im planning things out. For my motherboard I have a few requirments. First it needs to support at least 8gb ram, support a decently modern processor(at least i3 or amd equvilant). I would like it to be a crossover or what ever they are calld were it has sata and ide connections. I would like to have at least 3 sata ports and at least one ide controller and possible a floppy connector. It also would need a pci express x16(I think that's what graphics cards use) a pci express x8(the short one) and at least one pci(the white one) Are there any board like this out there? Also sorry if I may have been a little confusing just ask for clarification

I don't think my motherboard has IDE, and it definately doesn't have Floppy connectors. I do have 2 PCI slots, and you will not be able to find a modern motherboard with an ISA slot. PCI started replacing the need for ISA slots in the 1990's. So they are long ago outdated.

Check these out: http://adek.com/ATX_motherboards_PCI_Slots.html

It looks like the MB-P4BWA covers you for floppy, 8GB of RAM, PCIe x16, PCIe x4 (did you mean x8?), PCI slots and LGA775.
The other board, the MS-98A9, there doesn't have the floppy controller but it supports more RAM, Gen 3 core processors, and still has PCI slots.

Looks like your trouble is going to be finding a board with those modern features that has an IDE controller as well - is there a reason you couldn't use a IDE to SATA adapter for your legacy hardware?
