Okay so.. I have a toshiba satellite m645 and the other day it froze up to where i had to turn it off.

Now whenever i power it on it loads up and takes me to the boot menu where this is listed.. HDD/SSD, CD/DVD, FDD, LAN, and under that it says enter BIOS setup. No matter what boot option i pick it brings me right back to the boot menu..

When i enter bios setup it takes me to 6 available tabs, when im on the "main" tab i see that it says HDD/SSD "Not installed" so im thinking great my hard drive is fried so i went out and bought a PNY CS1111 SSD.. Still says its not installed. No matter what i do in the bios setup i can not get around the boot menu!!! And before anyone tries to say hit F8 when starting it up or F this F that NOTHING WORKS!! EFF THIS lol.. I cant even get into recovery options to reset to facory defaults by holding 0 while powering on and this happens even with my old hard drive in.

When im on the boot menu and if i hit the escape button on my keyboard it goes to a black screen and then it says this..
boot failed. P4-HL-DT-ST BDDVDRW CT30F
boot failed. FDD. Then what do you know it takes me right back to the boot menu. I even have all the toshiba recovery disc from geek squad when i bought the laptop from best buy and i put those in and nothing happens.

Now heres something i have to let you know but i doubt makes a difference. A few months ago something happened to where my laptop would only start me up in safemode i figured out it was a windows update that did it so i unistalled it and went into system settings and turned boot into safe mode OFF and then i got back into my normal operation without being booted into safe mode. So if turning safe mode off is the problem then how would i get back in to turn it on????
Thank you for reading im really stressed over this and would love any type of help!!

No there is NOTHING in windows that you can do that would prevent the BIOS from showing Not Installed for the hard drive.

Try this as it may seem stupid but it can fix a lot of problems so lets get this part out of the way.

Unplug the AC adapter to your laptop. Remove the Battery. Hold power button for 30 seconds. Then leave it set for 15-20 plus minutes (Letting it sit longer won't really help to much) and then just plug back in ONLY AC adapter and see if it shows the hard drive in the BIOS. If not there could be some weird damage to the motherboard preventing it from seeing the hard drive.
