Hello all,

Recently we purchased a Seagate NAS with 4TB of hard disk

I just moved my 600GB file but it show 1.3TB on Size on disk

its using 4096 cluster size for all small files

Kindly help me to reduce the cluster size or any other solutions is highly appreciated

Note: I am new in networking So I don't have enough knowledge about this issue So expecting brief explanation if possible

Thanks
Nihal

4096 is the normal size for NTFS partitions. Probably should leave this as it is. You probably should have converted the 4TB drive to GPT instead of MBR. Your MB should support UEFI for HDDs larger than 2TBs.

In disk manager, there is a square area to the left of the drive that has the disk number and other info in it. Right or left click this area and see what your options are.
