I am considering buying one of those routers that can broadcast 3g internet through WiFi signals.
Let me explain the situation here. We have 3 smartphones in the household and a laptop. I don't have wired broadband connection. The 3G dongle that I have connects well only in one part of the house. It is the same problem with all other cellphones. We have to go to a specific room to get good 3G speeds.
So if I use TP Link's 3G router, I could have all the phones and laptops in the house access the internet through the router from anywhere in the house.
My question is this - the 3G dongle however requires you to 'connect' via the Huawei software before you can access the internet. Will I need to then keep my laptop ON and connected to internet all the time if I need the phones in the house to access internet? The smartphones can connect to WiFi router but how will I make the Huawei dongle connect to the internet without having to switch on the PC?
