intel i7-3770 with a MSI B85-G41 PC MATE motherboard

hi guys,

i wanted to upgrade my motherboard for 80 euro's. and with my processor there aren't a lot of motherboards around with 2 PCI Express x16-slots. but i managed to find one:

my question is if my processor will fit in this motherboard?

my pc specs are:
- asus nvidia gtx 750ti 2 gb
- intel i7-3770 3.4 ghz
- 10gb ram 1333mhz
- 1 tb hdd
- Sandisk Ultra II 120GB
- xfx ts550w 80 plus bronze
- motherboard with one pci slot

I assume you mean pci-e slots

You gonna have a job to find a new motherboard for that cpu now

look for the GA-Z77-DS3H

its cheap and still available with 2 pcie slots but not 2 x16, you gonna have a real problem finding one now with those specs for 80euros, in fact i'd say no way at all. Do you want to CF, SLI or need the pci slot for something else?

If you looking to run dual cards @ 16x each, you can't do this on this platform anyway

maybe some can correct me but i think 1155 is 20 lanes max so your looking at 2 x 8x max
