I have an Alienware Aurora r3 and the motherboard was holding me back so I decided to attempt to replace it. Since it was few years old I needed a new CPU motherboard and ram. Spec below. I installed all my parts and everything in connected. Only item to not is my Alienware liquid cooler did not work so I used the stock fan. In any case attempted to boot the machine CPU fan stars spinning but immediately stops. After multiple attempt CPU fan no longer spinning. Also, dont know how often people deal with these custom built Alienware desktops but there seems to be several custom boards to supplement the original micro atx board.there was a small board with fan controls, CPU, HD etc. Then a small board hidden between my disk drive slots and hard drive bays that is receiving power. Looks to be receiving power via a Molex connector. I sm nor sure if there could be problems with the boards communicating with my new board.

New parts:
Gigabyte G1 gaming Ga-Z170Mx gaming 5 lga 1151 board

Intel i5 6600 6M 4 core lga1151 skylake 3.3ghz

Corsair vengeance 2x8gb 288pin DDR4 2133

Have a 875w psu so it should be more that enough but my PC original cane with I think a sandy bridge processor and I think when broadwell cane out there was some weird low voltage spec you needed. Could that be the problem as well. Thanks in advance for any suggestions
