NAT Type/Changing router settings

Hiya,

I figured out a way to change my NAT type on my PC but it means I have to go into the router settings on my browser and go from there. However, I am currently at university which I presume is the reason I cannot get onto the router settings - because it's a shared router. Does anybody know how I can fix this?

If not, does anybody know how bad it is to play CoD on strict NAT type cus that's what I'm gonna be stuck with :(

A strict NAT type may impede your ability to connect with other players on xbox live, im not totally sure on this but I believe in matchmaking you will only be paired with people also using a strict nat type and maybe moderate so if your waiting a while in matchmaking all the time, cant join friends games, cant hear friends in game or they cant hear you your nat type may be a problem. Are you on wireless? If there is any way you can connect to the router directly with an Ethernet cable that should have an open nat type by default. But you wont be able to change any of the settings on your schools network without the password and you would need the default gateway for the router you are using. Maybe ask the IT guy at your school, if hes...
