My laptop (Lenovo) wont open any program.

Please help, my laptop (Lenovo windows 7) wont open any program on desktop including start button. When I click on anything the blue wheelie besides the mouse starts spanning but nothing opens. I can open programs in safe mode but cant download antivirus programs or run the ones I already have installed.
I used my friends computer to make a bootable avast and panda rescue usb and both says no "infected files found".
I dont know what to do anymore please if you have any suggestion help me.

Your first action should be to uninstall all (dedicated) graphics drivers. I don't know what graphics provider you use, but nVidia has serious problems these days with their latest drivers. If you're using the GeForce Experience utility, uninstall that, too.

Then re-install the oldest driver version you can find, going as far back as 335.xx, and see if it helps. You should also run whatever diagnostics program is on your system, e.g. PC Doctor or Lenovo Solution Center.

If this doesn't work, please return with more specs on your machine.

Hi GreyCatz, thanks for the reply. I am not that good with computers so dont really know what graphic drivers are and how to uninstall them. My computer is almost 4 years old you think the graphic drivers might still be the problem?
I will see what diagnostics tools I have and try to run them thanks.

Hello, yencal:

Did your Lenovo come with a set of Recovery disks, or a Recovery USB? If so, this might be the time to try a full factory restore.

I don't know if you can perform any useful actions in Safe Mode, but try to copy all your important files onto a USB stick, and start the recovery process.
