Hi. I am using a Asus DSL_N55U router with VPN setup. I have 'Network Place (Samba) Support' set to Yes. It is on the address 192.168.42.1.

I have a laptop running Windows 10 and have connected it to the wireless network of the company downstares to test the VPN. I can connect to the VPN fine and access the web interface of the router. I can also do this from home.

What I want to do is access a NAS we have in the office. I can access its web interface but when I click on the network drive I have mapped to the NAS it will not work. I get the error 'Microsoft windows Network: the local drive name is already in use'. This hapens when I click on drive and makes no sense.

I can however access the web interface on the NAS.

It also does not show up in the 'Network' section in Explorer and if I type \\NAS01 it can not find it.

Ben

D-Link ShareCenter DNS-320L. I was simply saying I could get to NAS and router web interface to indicate I was properly connected to remote network through VPN. And yes, the web interface issed to set up NAS.
