So i was building a pc, and i connected the dvd writer and the hard drive, and then with a separate cable the solid state drive.

so in boot devices it lists:
-Dvd writer
-hdd
-ssd

Does that matter? should i change it around? because i have already installed cable ties :(

Solution
If your SSD has your operating system on it you need to change it to be before the HDD in the BIOS boot order. You don't need to physically change the drives around, just change the order in the BIOS.

Alright, so would that order be okay?

-SSD
-HDD
-DVD writer

many thanks

That would be ok, yes, though it is usually a good idea to leave the DVD first in case you want to boot from a disk at any point. Not a big deal, as you can change it later if you want to boot from a CD, but it doesn't get in the way of the SSD to have it first.

In the bios, you should be able to reorder the boot priorities.
Set the top to your boot device, hopefully a ssd.
This lets you boot quicker since the bios does not need to check other devices.
If you should ever need a different boot order, you can change it.
