Maximus VI Hero motherboard support dolby digital live?

Does anyone know if my motherboard supports dolby digital live? just bought astro a50s and trying to get the surround sound to work but cant seem to. thanks

ahh so im able to go into realtek digital output (optical) properties, i then go to supported formats and it has dolby digital, i click to test the sound and it sounds perfect but for some reason i cant find the options to turn it on or keep it on, just the test option
