GTX 970 or 980ti for ASUS VX239H Monitor Ultra Settings

Hi I was thinking about these GTX 970 and 980ti for 1080p ultra settings like BF4,Witcher3 GTA5 and Far Cry 4.

Here are the specs.
CPU: i7 3770
MOBO: asus p8h61-mx usb3
RAM: 8GB Kingston Hyper X Blu

That's like comparing a cookie, to a bigger cookie! Both cards would do excellent in 1080p max. Of course the 980 ti would probably be in the 70/80fps range with the 970 50/60fps on demanding games. 970 is better card for value. The 3.5GB of Vram issue doesn't really affect 1080p so if you're on a budget, go for 970. If you can actually afford a 980 ti go for it for maybe higher resolution gaming.
