Hello there, I have this really nice set of bookshelf speakers that i was planning to power with a mini amp like the lepai 2020 etc however i have this AMAZING sounding subwoofer from a home theater that wasn't being using and i want to know how i can power the bookshelf and subwoofer with an amp or amps. Please suggest amps $150ish and under as i dont have much $$ left over. Also is it possible to power my bookshelfs with one mini amp and my sub with another and just connect the audio inputs into the appropriate places on my computer?

for individual amps setup you could install active crossover to split the signal into full-range channel and low range channel.
or buy a power amplifier that has an active crossover feature (has seperate subwoffer line-out).

schematic sample if you go dual amps using 1 active xover and 1 passive xover.
